On the 2^nd of October 2014, the girl’s Senior and Junior cross country team went to Ballina. They had great success. Katie  from 6^th class came 1^st in the senior race and Niamh  came 12^th and Sarah  came 19^th and Mairéad  came 23^rd.The senior cross country team came first. The junior cross country team came 2^nd. Ava  came 1^st in the junior race.

St. Peter’s National School Girls Gaelic team won the Cumann na mBunscoil Castlebar area. They beat Parke ,Breaffy,Mount Pleasant and Errew. They  were greeted by the whole school when they returned.The boys team got knocked out of the game in the first round.
