Snugboro sixth class did a lovely art project on the famous artist Mo Digliani he was from Italy but spent most of his life in France his paintings included unusual features such as long noses, big foreheads, and small lips it also included a dark backround. Mo mainly focused on portrait paintings, one of his paintings was sold for the gobsmacking amount of 170 million! even though mo was very talented he only became famous after death.

Snugboro school kicked back into action on the first week with a special visitor Nicholas Quinn! It was a privilege to have our very own Castlebar Olympian to visit the school. We gave him a big welcome, the welcome he deserved. Nicholas competed in two events: the 100m breastroke and the 200m breastroke, He did so well in both events and ended up coming first in his heat in the 200m just missing out on the semi final by split seconds. He did Castlebar and all of the country proud and of course us here at Snugboro school. We wish him the best of luck in the future and don't forget, Nicholas for Tokyo 2020!
